About The Position

Administration Officer – Casual Pool across Greenwich Hospital, Neringah Hospital and Northern Beaches Palliative Care Service. About the role The role of the Administration Officer works within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to ensure the provision of high-level administrative support to HammondCare Healthcare & Hospitals services The role is offered on a casual basis and the expectation is suitable applicants will be able to work across our 3 Health campuses in Greenwich, Wahroonga and Mona Vale. Please note roles location at Greenwich Hospital will be relocated to Macquarie Hospital site in North Ryde during the Greenwich Hospital redevelopment from March 2026 Key Focus Areas Complete administrative activities associated with the services Key point of contact for enquiries for the service and face to face contact for patients, visitors and staff Maintain accurate medical records and process data on patients on EMR and other information systems Provide support and work collaboration with Multi-disciplinary team and administrative staffFace to face contact for patients, visitors and staff and being a key person for enquiries

Requirements

  • Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action.
  • Proven experience in a healthcare administration or similar
  • Demonstrated coordination, prioritisation and problem solving
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to go above and beyond set task
  • Capable of working autonomously and effectively following directions
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated skills in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products

  • Understanding revenue process e.g. cash handling
  • Understanding Medical Terminology
