Provides general administrative support to a department or group under general supervision. Performs work that is varied and generally administrative and/ or project oriented. Essential duties include the following: Champions the company’s H.S.E.&T program in all aspects of work performed to provide quality service in a safe and efficient manner. Resolves routine inquiries and questions and responds to correspondence or telephone contacts in area of responsibility within guidelines established by supervisor. Composes correspondence and other written documentation. Compiles data from reports using required knowledge of departmental, project or Company policies and procedures. May be responsible for or assist with data entry and basic processing for the Company's financial or human resources system. May be required to maintain office supplies and equipment. May screen calls, receive and direct visitors. Provides back-up for other support staff as needed. May serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside assigned areas regarding administrative issues on purchasing, personnel, facilities and operations. May review accounts payable invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment. Performs any and all job duties as assigned by supervisory personnel including general labor, as necessary.
