Requirements

  • B.S./B.A. in LTC Administration, Management, Human Services or related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • May be required to work weekends and evenings based on special programs and management duties.
  • MN Nursing Home Administrator License.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, direct, and coordinate activities for the Health Care Facility.
  • Give clear directions, explain reasons for decisions, and solicit employee input to maximize group capabilities.
  • Reflect problem-solving skills to diagnose problems quickly and recommend or implement effective solutions.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks to assure appropriate actions are initiated when needed.
  • Direct and participate in the strategic planning process for the facility and Fairview/Ebenezer system.
  • Act as liaison between the governing body, corporate staff, medical staff, and facility departments as requested.
  • Provide reports to the board of directors, corporate staff, and medical director as requested.
  • Interpret Ebenezer policies, standards, mission, values, and organization direction to facility staff.
  • Inform the medical director of resident and staff incidents and health status concerns.
  • Keep corporate staff informed of significant facility concerns.
  • Regularly participate in corporate senior management meetings, administrator meetings, and other committees as assigned by corporate staff.
  • Assure strong census at care center and actively participate in marketing efforts.
  • Monitor the maintenance of referral database, lead follow-up, and census/occupancy records.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and follow through plans.
