About The Position

Provides leadership and direction for the Women's and Children's Care Division; to include operational oversight, strategy development and implementation, integration of research and academics, advancement of quality and patient safety efforts, continuous process improvement, and philanthropic activities. Plans, directs, and coordinates the growth and continuance of programs specific to Women's and Children's Care, consistent with the purpose and mission of Prisma Health. Provides leadership and management for Women's and Children's Care Division's ambulatory practices to include all Medical Group divisions of women's and children's care. Provides guidance and administrative support for all operations where Women's and Children's Care services exist including strategic feedback to align the business structure of the Care Division to optimize system-wide financial and operational metrics and results. Eliminates waste and variation in practices and processes, fosters collaboration between market leaders to ensure consistency in care delivery models, and ensures regulatory compliance for all clinical efforts across the system. Responsible for identifying, developing, and disseminating best practices for the Women's and Children's Care Division. Reports to Vice President, Operations for Prisma Health Medical Group and serves as a dyad partner to the Executive Medical Director of the Women's and Children's Care Division.

Requirements

  • Master's degree
  • Three (3) years of demonstrated leadership experience in relevant area of responsibility.
  • Three (3) years of progressive management, program, and business development experience.
  • Clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Works with physician dyad partner to develop the strategic approach towards, and implementation of, the structure and operating model of the Women's and Children's Care Division.
  • Works with dyad partner and interdisciplinary team of leaders to develop short and long range strategic goals, with an annual review of a strategic plan conducted to assess operationalization of projects, track progress, and reevaluate strategic priorities.
  • Drives standardization and collaborative efforts across markets, clinical departments/divisions, and business units in an effort to develop and maintain a unified approach to care delivery.
  • Financial accountability of; assigned medical group operating units to include budget authority, capital projects, and collaboration with market leaders for growth and access initiatives to guide improvements and assist in budget development annually.
  • Partners with clinical and quality leadership teams to monitor, track, and improve key quality and patient safety measures and provide support in regulatory surveys/certifications.
  • Works to align with philanthropic efforts with associated philanthropy structure and strategy as needed.
  • Partners with dyad partner to integrate academic and research functions into the Women's and Children's Care Division.
  • Works with market leaders to advance the growth of the Women's and Children's Care Division; including strategic alignment, project operationalization, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
