Highlights: Summary: The Administrator, Physician Practice shall be responsible to manage the daily operations of an employed physician clinic. The Manager will be responsible for clinic operation and physician relations. The Manager will have functional supervision of all staff. This individual shall provide leadership and direction in all matters regarding the practice management and to all clinic staff. The Manager will work cooperatively with other Baptist Health departments to share staffing and other resources and to help facilitate efficient operations with other Baptist Health employed physician practices. The Administrator will provide the same functionality as the Manager, Physician Practice II role, however, the scope of responsibility is more complex due to the operational needs of the clinics. The needs of the clinic will be based on a criterion that include but not limited to the number of providers, service locations, staffing, generated revenue and is at the discretion of clinic executive leadership. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration or other health related field required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • In lieu of degree, applicable experience of 5 years within the Baptist Health System or affiliate, or 8 or more years in the healthcare field outside of Baptist Health, with 5 or more years of management/supervisory experience required.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software.
  • Strong team leadership skills, strong organization, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
  • Must be able to meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to remain calm in difficult situations.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, proficient computer skills, proven track record of successful performance.
  • Ability to understand complex multifactor situations and bring appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Active CMPE, CPC, CHE, or FACHE preferred
