About The Position

National Health Care Associates, Inc. is seeking future leaders for its Administrator-in-Training (AIT) Program in Maine. This program is designed to develop and actualize leadership potential in the field of Long Term Post-Acute Care as a facility Administrator. The AIT Program offers hands-on experience in the full spectrum of operations in a skilled nursing facility (SNF), preparing participants to lead with confidence, integrity, and compassion. The program lasts one year and includes rotations across key departments such as Administration, Human Resources, Clinical, Finance, Business Development and Marketing, Social Services, and Environmental Services. Core training areas include healthcare operations, leadership, clinical & regulatory compliance, survey readiness & quality measures, and business development and reimbursement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Eligible per state-specific licensing criteria.
  • Prior management experience in healthcare (preferred).
  • Flexible schedule availability including some evenings/weekends.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
