About The Position

This position is for an Administrator in Training (AIT) program designed for individuals aspiring to become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA). Candidates will gain experience in various settings and receive comprehensive training to launch their healthcare career in the long-term care/skilled nursing industry. Requirements

1-3 years’ experience in long-term care
Bachelor's Degree
Ability to thrive in a complex environment
Ability to relate to and work with physically and/or mentally ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people professionally and respectfully
Ability to understand and follow regulations
Ability to adapt and handle pressure
Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care

Nice To Haves

Experience in long-term care or related field with supervisory background
Bachelor's degree specifically in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration (or related field)

Responsibilities

Develop the knowledge, skills and ability to successfully become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator
Direct the day-to-day functions of a facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care facilities
