About The Position

The Facility Administrator at Timberlake Surgery Center is a senior leadership role that combines clinical and administrative responsibilities. This position requires a hands-on leader who is actively engaged in the operations of the surgery center, providing direct patient care when necessary, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The administrator will oversee staff performance, manage budgets, and facilitate relationships with various stakeholders to meet the facility's mission and objectives.

Requirements

  • State RN license preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of four years supervisory/management experience.
  • Experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of State, Federal, and Accrediting Body regulations related to healthcare.
  • Experience in budgeting and personnel management.
  • Evidence of continuing education related to job specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage in the operations of the surgery center as a hands-on leader.
  • Support surgeons by ensuring adequately prepared service team members.
  • Delegate responsibilities to professional, technical, and ancillary personnel.
  • Evaluate performance of all department personnel.
  • Coordinate administrative duties to ensure staff qualification and proficiency.
  • Manage the provision and control of materials, supplies, and equipment with relevant managers.
  • Coordinate activities within the operating room suite.
  • Act as the Risk Manager Designee.
  • Fill in on clinical and operational duties as needed to support the team and physicians.
  • Motivate and empower facility employees to meet the facility's mission.
  • Develop working relationships with the Governing Board, Partners, Medical Staff, and others.
  • Manage personnel through effective hiring, evaluation, and counseling.
  • Participate in leadership development and implement programs for facility managers.
  • Ensure compliance with State, Federal, and accreditation standards.
  • Develop and manage operating and capital budgets.
  • Oversee fiscal management for effective billing and accounts payable management.
  • Lead Performance Improvement activities.
  • Maintain current policies and procedures according to regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the physical facility and ensure maintenance and cleaning are performed.
