About The Position

The Administrator of the Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) at Novant Health is responsible for overseeing the operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting high-quality patient care. Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an ambulatory surgery center or related acute care experience.
• State RN licensure required.
• Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and word processing.
• Evidence of leadership qualities and effective communication skills.

• Experience with professional/technical staff other than clinical.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct all activities of the facility according to its policies and objectives.
• Participate in financial and cost-containment decisions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and accrediting body regulations.
• Serve as internal risk manager, compliance officer, and infection prevention manager.
• Manage the environment of care, personnel, materials/equipment, and administrative duties.
• Coordinate and direct patient care according to adopted policies and regulations.
• Promote a favorable image of the facility to stakeholders.
• Oversee patient scheduling in all clinical areas.
• Analyze and evaluate nursing and clinical care to improve quality.
• Work closely with center leaders and medical staff in coordinating patient-care services.
