About The Position

The Community Corrections Center - Lincoln (CCCL) is seeking administrative support within the facility in assisting with processing, coordinating, tracking and monitoring program/administrative functions. With accuracy, reliability, and efficiency, this person will perform technical work or services for the agency program/administrative operations of CCCL. Requirements

  • Coursework/training or experience related to research, presentation, or publication in an area related to the programs or functions of the employing agency; business administration; accounting; customer service; and/ or technical support work, including use of computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Applicants accepting a job offer must pass the following pre-employment exams in this order: medical exam, and at a randomly announced time, pass a drug test.
  • Once at the Staff Training Academy, must successfully complete the fully paid NE Corrections Training Program.

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative support activities.
  • Write responses to inquiries and complaints of potentially sensitive nature
  • Compose, track and monitor information and projects.
  • Arrange schedules and agendas, organize conferences, record minutes, and prepare written record of proceedings for various meetings.
  • Collect and compile information from computers, databases, statistical, administrative, or other documents to create reports, charts and/or graphs through word processing, spreadsheets, or database software to display information in readable format.
  • Prepare documents, reports or presentations requiring the use of advanced software features that includes integration of spreadsheets, macros, queries, charts, graphics, tables, and multiple databases.
  • Participate in process improvement projects.
  • Plan, organize, and implement work assignments.
  • Assist with Religious Coordination team.
