About The Position

The Administrative Team Lead provides day-to-day leadership and support to the Administrative Support Specialist team while continuing to perform core administrative support functions. This is a step-up opportunity for someone looking to grow into a leadership role, with an emphasis on developing team resources, improving processes, and supporting team training. This role serves as a key liaison between the Administrative Support Specialist team and engineers/project managers, ensuring clear communication, balanced workloads, and consistent, high-quality support across offices. The Team Lead partners closely with the Administrative Manager to support team operations, development, and process improvements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as an Administrative Support Specialist or in a similar administrative role
  • Demonstrated experience supporting multiple teams or projects
  • Valid Driver’s License may be required depending on office needs

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership, mentoring, or informal lead experience preferred
  • Experience creating training materials, process documentation, or workflows preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced Administrative Support Specialist tasks, maintaining a strong understanding of day-to-day team responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Administrative Support Specialist team for questions, guidance, and support
  • Act as a liaison and buffer between the Administrative Support Specialist team and engineers/project managers, helping facilitate communication and resolve issues
  • Assist in delegating tasks and balancing workloads across the Administrative Support Specialist team
  • Lead and support training efforts, including onboarding new team members and developing ongoing training resources
  • Create and maintain how-to guides, process documentation, and team resources to improve consistency and efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes, reducing manual effort and improving team effectiveness
  • Help navigate and support difficult or sensitive conversations with professionalism
  • Partner with the Administrative Manager on team coordination, performance feedback, and operational needs
  • Monitor and help ensure quality and consistency of deliverables produced by the Administrative Support Specialist team
  • Maintain a minimum of 30 hours per week, with flexibility to increase hours based on workload and team needs
