About The Position

Our client is a leading international Catholic ministry organization working across 30+ countries to provide humanitarian aid and support to underserved communities worldwide. They are seeking a dedicated Temporary Development Associate to join their Major Donors team for a 3-month contract supporting donor stewardship and administrative functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-2 years professional fundraising experience or equivalent field sales/territory management
• Understanding of fundraising as stewardship ministry
• Experience with CRM systems or donor databases highly preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Sensitivity to Christian-based fundraising environment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle confidential information

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional donor stewardship through personalized phone calls expressing gratitude for contributions
• Write compelling thank-you notes and emails highlighting donation impact on ministry efforts
• Share seasonal and liturgical stewardship content including prayers and ministry updates
• Support Leadership Annual Giving Program focusing on mid-level donors ($500-$5,000 annually)
• Manage donor database entries and maintain accurate records
• Perform high-volume mail merge operations and data management tasks
• Draft professional correspondence and donor communications
