Summary of Position Intern will be working for our Mold Maker/Apprentice Manager supporting administrative tasks to keep the facility and schedules moving smoothly.

Requirements

  • Ability to arrive on time and work required day/week that was laid out during the hiring process.
  • Willingness to learn and be able to work on tasks after training complete.
  • Safety orientated, needs to be able to conduct themselves in a safe manner for their safety and other employees safety.
  • Mechanical ability
  • Light computer skills
  • Ability to work safely with others.
  • Sophomore, Junior, or Senior College Student
  • Must be available to work in Gurnee, IL from May 27, 2025 – Aug 13, 2025

Responsibilities

  • Driving company truck for light pickups and deliveries.
  • Emptying garbage cans every morning
  • Mounting electrodes and grouping them with their job travelers.
  • Shadowing Mold Makers to get a feel for this position. (Not operating machines)
  • Installing standard components into mold plates and preparing for final mold assembly.
  • Helping in Engineering as needed learning this side of our business.
