The Administrative Support II will serve as support staff for Code Enforcement Compliance Officers. Research names and addresses of property owners, tenants, and other responsible parties to insure anyone with a vested interest is notified of a violation. Update case management systems (WebQA, INFOR, Maximo, NCAD, and GIS) with actions such as violation notices and citations sent, address corrections, and returned mail. Enter new potential property into the case managements systems to be investigated by the assigned compliance officer. Communication daily with property owners, tenants and other responsible parties on expectations to achieve compliance with applicable Codes and Laws. Process citizen complaints, direct the public to the appropriate personnel for assistance, and ensure appropriate follow up is performed. Accept bids and issue work orders to City contractors for violation abatement, junked vehicle removal, boarding unsecured structures and demolition of substandard structures. Provide administrative assistance with documentation and notices for the Building Standard Board. Create and Submit Requisitions. Create and Submit Purchase Orders. May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.
