The Administrative Support Associate, under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager, coordinates and performs those duties necessary to manage and organize the nursing unit including reception and secretarial duties as well as accountability for accurate communication among the health care team. The Administrative Support Associate is responsible for maintaining regulatory standards involving the medical record. The Administrative Support Associate will also perform other duties and responsibilities as delegated by the Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager. The Administrative Support Associate is responsible for those competencies needed to perform duties in a specific clinical (patient care) setting.
