About The Position

Performs diversified clerical duties related to the operational needs of the office/department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience required.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in an administrative, customer service, or office support role.
  • Demonstrated excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting is a significant plus.
  • Prior experience ordering medical supplies is a significant plus.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and a compassionate approach to patient interaction are a plus.
  • EPIC experience strongly preferred.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Typing various correspondence, reports, articles
  • Greeting and directing visitors
  • Answering telephones, taking messages, directing intercom pages
  • Scheduling appointments/meetings
  • Maintaining department/office files, record keeping, patient record filing
  • Taking meeting minutes
  • Collecting payments
  • Keeping inventory and ordering supplies for the department/office
  • Performs related duties as required.
