This position provides administrative support to the Planning Department ensuring smooth office operations, accurate bookkeeping, grant functioning, recordkeeping, and effective communication for the Planning Department. The role will include budgeting / account monitoring, coordinating schedules, assisting with meetings and events, processing correspondence, and supporting planning and emergency management with administrative tasks. The role will coordinate highly technical reporting requirements, and track complex grants within the Department to ensure accurate and timely compliance with funding requirements. The Planning Department consists of Emergency Management, GIS, Transportation, Data Coordinator, Comprehensive Planning, Roads Maintenance, Project Management and related functions.
