The Administrative Specialists II works under the direct supervision of the director. Maintain high quality communication with internal and external customers. Establishes and maintains files on all employers that recruit on campus. Provides information, assistance, and clarification to interested parties concerning agency/institution policies and procedures. Researches various data and or computer records to obtain information and complies data for reports. Assists in developing or revising agency/institution policies, procedures, and directives based on research findings. Manages all aspects of Handshake including career fairs, events, workshops and information sessions. Assist students, employers and staff with use of Handshake. Prepares correspondence and other documents for students and employers. and maintains electronic files. Create complex reports and spreadsheets, which may require the use of Handshake, and Microsoft Office software. Post jobs, announcement, events, utilizing Handshake. Makes deposits and prepare financial statements. Monitor, approve and notify career coaches of job opportunities. Operate scanner, copier, and fax. Answer and respond to telephone calls; handle confidential and sensitive information. Performs other duties as assigned.
