About The Position

This position provides technical and administrative support to the Radiology Compliance Branch. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft applications is required. Candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to process time sensitive materials from internal team members and external stakeholders. Assigned tasks requires accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a high-volume office. Responsible for daily office needs and form requests. Ability to track and monitor multiple types of stakeholder request. Enters data and uploads information into various types of databases, to meet set goals. Attends continuing education classes and training to maintain current knowledge of radiologic effects and agency needs. May be required to participate on the State Emergency Response Team as required to maintain Homeland Security

Requirements

  • INTERNAL POSTING: ONLY PERMANENT FULL-TIME, PERMANENT PART-TIME, PROBATIONARY, TRAINEE, TEMPORARY, OR TIME-LIMITED DHHS EMPLOYEES OR LAYOFF CANDIDATES WITH THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA ELIGIBLE FOR RIF PIORITY REEMPLOYMENT CONSIDERATION AS DESCRIBED BY GENERAL STATUTE (GS) 126 MAY APPLY.
  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proven skills utilizing Microsoft Office products to include Office 365, TEAMS, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability in performance of administrative tasks for a high-volume office.
  • Ability to clearly communicate orally and in written form detailed data to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated skills to compile, assimilate and organize printed and electronic information.
  • Ability to apply knowledge of data collection, storage, organization, and manipulation of data for analysis.
