About The Position

The Administrative Scheduler will be responsible for administrative and scheduling functions. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of Company policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives, and in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Values of the Company.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.
  • Ability to effectively interact with customers and associates.
  • Ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Three to five years of administrative/clerical work experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of office machines, including copier, fax machine, personal computer, and calculator.
  • Computer proficiency with office programs including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and scheduling software.
  • Ability to work in an intense and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service to customers and employees.
  • Maintain professional communication and positive relationships with all customers and associates.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity with all written and oral information concerning company operations, management, and staff.
  • Monitor occupancy reports and group bookings to staff appropriately for business levels.
  • Write department schedules weekly and enter them into the timekeeping system.
  • Post associates' schedules in a centralized location and communicate any revisions.
  • Review and approve timecards daily.
  • Document attendance deviations and generate disciplinary action forms when necessary.
  • Forward attendance-related disciplinary actions to department manager.
  • Enter time off requests in the timekeeping system.
  • Ensure associates possess proper credentials, including employee alcohol permits and gaming licenses.
  • Greet new associates during orientation and provide training schedules.
  • Schedule associates for all mandatory meetings.
  • Assist department managers as needed.
  • Perform other duties as reasonably requested by Management.
