The Administrative Project Manager will support the Mid-States Region team at the Network for Public Health Law by managing and coordinating various projects. This role involves organizing workflows, tracking project budgets, scheduling meetings, and providing logistical support for events. The position is fully remote but requires attendance at two in-person meetings annually. The Administrative Project Manager will collaborate closely with team members and report to the Mid-States Region Director.

  • Assist the Mid-States team in managing, organizing, and coordinating a variety of projects.
  • Develop and maintain an organized system for monitoring and tracking project deliverables and resources.
  • Lead operational functions of project peer groups, including maintaining membership lists and communication responsibilities.
  • Assist with entering information and project activities in the Network database.
  • Monitor budgets and expenditures across projects.
  • Participate in developing the Mid-States Region's strategic plan.
  • Lead development and maintenance of the team SharePoint site.
  • Schedule project check-ins and other meetings.
  • Draft and disseminate project-related communications in partnership with the Communications Team.
  • Support webinar development and execution, including managing registration and program evaluations.
  • Provide logistical support for virtual and in-person meetings and events.
  • Make travel arrangements and prepare expense reports.
  • Order office supplies and coordinate purchase requests.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Minimum of 4 or more years of work-related experience in executive support, project management, and/or communications preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and ability to train team members on Office software required.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively required.
  • Experience working in nonprofit organizations; interest in public health is preferred.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to communicate effectively is required.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills, be positive, creative, willing to learn, and hard-working.
  • Experience in legal technical assistance or public health policy.
  • Familiarity with project management software or tools.
