An Administrative Program Coordinator I is responsible for managing and maintaining EPIC scheduling templates for providers within the Neurological Institute. This includes updating and optimizing templates to ensure they align with clinical operations, submitting change requests to the Central Access Optimization Team, and coordinating provider schedules for meetings, procedures, and special projects. The role plays a key part in ensuring scheduling accuracy and supporting overall clinic efficiency. * Onsite at Main Campus for approximately one month during training. The role transitions to fully remote upon successful completion of training and demonstration of job proficiency. *

  • Manage physician call offs and block off time for call offs.
  • Close schedule for PTO request or any changes made to schedule.
  • Submit any long-term changes or add new locations, resources.
  • Facilitate specialty programs that would include tandem clinics, advanced practice providers, and ensuring that templates are correctly updated.
  • Ensure the behind-the-scenes templates are communicated.
  • Understand how provider templates are set up and ensure that the template functions correctly.
  • Associate's Degree and two years of administrative experience OR High School Diploma/GED and four years of experience OR Bachelor's Degree.
  • May require a license based on department/institute needs.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with software applications.
  • Skills/qualities: multitasking, critical thinking, decisive judgment, independent, interactive, communication and customer service.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.
  • Healthcare or related organization experience.
  • Knowledge of project management and communication practices.
