About The Position

The University of Texas at Austin is hiring a full-time Administrative Program Coordinator for the Center for Law and Democracy, housed in the university’s Department of Government in the College of Liberal Arts. The Center for Law and Democracy supports research, teaching, and publishing that deepen interdisciplinary work across public law and political science. Home to both long-standing and new research, and innovative partnerships across campus and across the world, the Center convenes faculty, undergraduate students, and graduate students working at the nexus of law and democracy. Started in 2025, the Center is expanding its programs and funding, and this position will be an instrumental part of that effort. This position has a fixed term of three years. The Center is working to raise sustained funding to maintain this position beyond these three years, but that is not yet secured so cannot be guaranteed. The Administrative Program Coordinator will help advance the work of the Center through program development, fundraising, and grant writing. The position will oversee the daily operation of program activities, work with Center directors to develop and fund new programs, and work with stakeholders across campus and globally to facilitate program objectives.
