About The Position

Job Summary: Receive, process, and track prescription vendor invoices, vendor fees, other related items. Provider backup for other administrative duties as assigned. Regularly deals with data of a confidential or sensitive nature where judgment and tact are required to maintain or disseminate it. Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects, meet established deadlines and change as business needs require
  • Proficient PC skills including e-mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet,10-key
  • Proven experience in a professional office environment
  • Good problem solving/analytical/math skills.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 8 hours a day, move or traverse about the office to access office machinery, regularly moving objects up to 5 lbs.
  • Consistently operate a computer and other office machinery such as telephones, printers, scanners etc.
  • Communicate and effectively detect and exchange information on a continual basis.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process inbound invoices/fees from our client’s prescription/other vendors that they utilize within their health plan.
  • Correspond with PBM’s and vendors regarding invoices/payments/processing
  • Handle vendor history claim loading process with precision and accuracy.
  • Provide back up on other duties of the administrative staff including mailroom duties, front desk coverage, support for the COBRA and provider maintenance teams.
  • Further duties/projects as assigned or appropriate
