Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately post all purchases in the accounting and DealerTrack computer systems.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and disburse funds for goods and supplies.
  • Verify and maintain accounting schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Record and process service contracts, GAP, and aftermarket applications/cancellations, while reconciling associated payables and receivables.
  • Assist in processing payroll, maintain records, and ensure accurate and timely disbursement.
  • Provide administrative assistance for human resources tasks, such as maintaining employee files, I-9 compliance, and time/attendance tracking.
  • Generate and maintain salesperson commission reports and handle commissions on hold.
  • Assist with accounts receivable operations, including invoicing, deposits, and collections.
  • Reconcile reconditioning and service accounts weekly and schedules monthly before month-end.
  • Post journal entries, general expenses, and other required postings promptly.
  • Maintain petty cash accounts and ensure vendor information is up to date.
  • Process and complete annual 1099 reporting.
  • Support end-of-month and year-end accounting tasks.
  • Order and manage office supplies as needed.
