This person will perform administrative work of considerable difficulty and involving some independent judgment for the partners of the firm, and team members, as needed, in the areas of audit and tax services. Responsible for attestation workload, general office functions, provide support to the administrative team to ensure timely, accurate, and quality projects, and related work as required. Assist in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our downtown Buffalo office. Work with Office Administrators to help support our staff and clients, including but not limited to typing correspondence, reports, etc., calendar maintenance, client communications, event coordination and planning, visitor travel arrangements, software assistance for client-facing team members, scanning, mailings, photocopying, coordinating deliveries, mailroom tasks, ordering office supplies, etc. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and organizational skills, strong attention to detail, the ability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn new software programs. Collaborate with team members to support the overall efficiency and productivity of the office Address client and other team members’ questions and issues promptly Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism Able to work overtime as needed This is a mainly in-office position, with some flexibility to work from home, once training has been completed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus
  • Professional and appropriate written and verbal communication skills, especially in follow-up
  • Five + years’ experience as an office assistant or in a similar role
  • Willingness to work as part of team to balance and share workloads and assignments
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and aptitude to learn additional programs
  • Minimum 4 days a week in office with some flexibility
  • Willingness to work in a downtown Buffalo office

Responsibilities
