About The Position
This position is located at Piedmont Correctional Institution in Rowan County, NC. Piedmont Correctional Institution is a medium custody male facility. The Administrative Officer III oversees the complete business function of the prison to include all fiscal and Human Resources operations. This requires high level decision making based on knowledge of DAC and Prisons Policy as well as a thorough understanding of Prisons Operations. This position serves on the management team and directly supervises subordinate staff responsible for the areas of budget, accounting, human resources, canteen, clothes house, maintenance, mailroom and trust fund. Position is also responsible for gathering and analyzing data providing management level reports and information on a regular basis. Position will work closely with the Warden to manage the facility budget and make decisions regarding expenditures.
