The Administrative Office Supervisor plays a key role in supporting the delivery of compassionate, high-quality hospice care. This position provides administrative, scheduling, and supervisory support to ensure the interdisciplinary team functions efficiently and in alignment with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and the organization’s mission and values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related experience in a home care, hospice, or palliative care environment
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
  • Strong computer and data entry skills; knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and maintain schedules for professional and paraprofessional staff through weekly meetings and ongoing adjustments as needed
  • Serve as the point of contact for incoming telephone calls, directing information appropriately to team members
  • Ensure on-call and triage coverage is adequately staffed, utilizing the per diem employee pool as needed
  • Support daily office operations to promote timely, effective patient care
  • Facilitate communication and workflow coordination across the interdisciplinary team
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with hospice regulations and organizational standards
