About The Position

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and refine administrative policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency across the school.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the dean, providing high-level administrative support by scheduling and preparing for meetings, creating agendas, and overseeing the follow-up of critical tasks.
  • Oversee and manage departmental and school-wide budgets, including the allocation of funds, tracking expenses, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.
  • Approve purchases and reallocate funds as necessary.
  • Manage and mentor student workers or graduate assistants, setting performance goals, evaluating progress, and providing feedback to ensure high standards are met.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact and liaison for the dean's office, managing communications with internal departments, external partners, and other team members to support the school's strategic goals.
  • Oversee the management of one or more office buildings, including coordinating with other departments and external vendors to ensure efficient use of space and resources.
  • Lead the execution of special events, staff retreats, and leadership meetings, including agenda development, logistics, and team member communication.
  • Conduct analysis of complex data from various sources, prepare reports, and provide relevant insights to the dean and school leadership for strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with university policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, and proactively address issues to mitigate risks.
  • Exercise independent judgment on administrative and operational matters, making recommendations, resolving issues, and implementing solutions to advance the school's goals.
