The Administrative Manager for Research (AMR) is part of the division management team and will work in concert with the MGH Department of Medicine, Research Management, and PCCM Division members, as well as internal and external collaborators, including investigators, institutions and sponsors, to coordinate the PCCM Division’s research activities. This will include financial and personnel management, ensuring continuity and integrity of the overall research effort and facilitating the administrative requirements of research activities. Scope includes direct and indirect management of 50+ FTEs and fiscal responsibility for a research portfolio of approximately $40M in annual direct costs. Job Summary Summary Provides high-level support to Research Finance leadership, Pre and Post-Award Teams, research faculty and research support staff. Manage post-award and pre-award activities of sponsored programs within portfolio. This includes maintaining the healthy financial status of all accounts within the finance manager's portfolio ensuring compliance of sponsor and institutional terms and conditions as well as proposal development, submission, and post-submission follow-up for manager's portfolio of investigators and others as needed.
