About The Position

The Administrative Manager for Information Technology Services (ITS) is a key member of the department’s leadership team, responsible for overseeing and coordinating core administrative functions that support a large, complex, and highly technical organization. This position will lead budget development, financial planning and analysis, contract and procurement administration, and program support services, ensuring alignment with departmental priorities and County policies. Working closely with ITS leadership, HR, Finance, and County stakeholders, the Administrative Manager ensures effective stewardship of resources and supports the development and management of multifaceted budgets, including operational, capital, and internal service funds. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial sustainability, transparency, and compliance while helping the department navigate competing priorities and evolving service demands. The Administrative Manager also champions process improvement and standardization across administrative operations, enhancing efficiency, accountability, and service delivery. This position supervises administrative staff and builds strong partnerships with technical leaders and stakeholders to ensure administrative services effectively support ITS programs, enterprise initiatives, and the County’s broader strategic goals.

  • Possession of a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with a major in business or public administration, finance, or a closely related field
  • At least five (5) years of progressively responsible professional experience in administrative, management, intergovernmental, operations, budgetary and similar analyses that includes at least three (3) or more years of professional level supervisory experience.
  • This position requires the selected finalist to pass a CJIS Background check.
