The Office of Racial Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative and Financial Coordinator to advance our purpose of embedding equity, inclusivity, and belonging within city governance. This essential role will deliver high-level operational support and moderately complex business/accounting assistance to the REIB. Additionally, the Administrative and Financial Coordinator will assist with the logistics of program and outreach initiatives, while serving as the first point of contact for city employees, community partners, and stakeholders. This position has extensive interaction with the public and will support the development and implementation of the REIB's social media strategies to enhance visibility and engagement. Under the direction of the REIB Director, the Administrative and Financial Coordinator will develop strategies to improve operations and outreach by creating and implementing administrative systems and processes to ensure REIB's success. The Administrative and Financial Coordinator will also support the REIB's various committees and task forces. The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated commitment to racial equity and inclusivity, with a focus on fostering a sense of belonging across a diverse group of constituencies.
