About The Position

The Administrative Director of Nursing coordinates and directs care provided by other team members and addresses system issues to ensure quality and efficient care. This role involves oversight and management of operational, regulatory, and business processes across the system. The incumbent is responsible for leading their departments in facilitating change, fostering innovation, and promoting self-development to achieve excellence in operations, patient safety, and quality. The position requires excellent communication skills, leadership ability, time management, and problem-solving skills.   • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • 3 - 5 years’ previous hospital or nursing management experience
  • Working knowledge in human relations, customer service, inventory management, and budget management
  • Ability to work with multiple people while meeting numerous requests and deadlines
  • Goal oriented with initiative and potentials for self-development
  • Maintains organizational and priority setting skills
  • Nursing License active in the state of Missouri

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and directs care given by other team members
  • Addresses system issues to facilitate the provision of quality efficient care
  • Provides oversight and management of operational, regulatory, and business processes across the system
  • Leads their departments in facilitating change, fostering innovation and self-development to achieve excellence in operations, patient safety and quality
  • Represents the departments on several process improvement, standardization, and regulatory committees
  • Operates strategic plan by setting and monitoring key performance measures and goals
  • Determines scope of care or service in relation to values, mission, and strategic plan of the institution
  • Assist with developing their departments’ long term plans
  • Delegates appropriately to other team members
