About The Position

The Administrative Director of Medical Education (ADME) is responsible for overseeing the accreditation process for medical education programs at HCA Florida Capital Hospital. This role involves managing the administrative operations of these programs, ensuring compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies, and supporting the development of new residency programs. The ADME collaborates with various service lines and C-Suite personnel to promote GME-related initiatives and manage budgetary matters, staffing, and space planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 3 years' experience in a graduate medical education or healthcare medical education setting.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain oversight of the accreditation process for specialty programs and institutional accreditation.
• Direct administrative operations and daily management of all medical education programs.
• Ensure program compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies.
• Assist in the submission of executive summaries for ACGME Annual Institutional Review.
• Track residency program citations and develop action plans to address them.
• Facilitate onboarding and offboarding logistics for residents and GME staff.
• Supervise GME program administrative staff and manage their daily activities.
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets for related programs.
• Provide formal feedback and performance appraisals for program coordinators.
• Participate in strategic planning for residency programs and hospital initiatives.
