Within Franciscan, the Cardiovascular Services Administrative Director is responsible for the direction and coordination of the activities of the assigned service line, to execute daily operations and meet the objectives of the hospital plan for the Provision of Patient Care. This position implements standards and evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing and technical care delivered to assigned patient populations. The Administrative Director has administrative responsibility for assigned departments and for program development with Patient Care Services. Overall, fulfilling the responsibilities of this role assists in making a more functional and efficient department. Develops and implements a cardiovascular service line business plan, driving profitable cardiovascular service line growth, and improving operations in terms of quality and processes. Represents the hospital by membership in related professional and community associations; supports community projects and agencies. Assesses patient and staff education needs in regard to cardiovascular services; prepares and delivers reports.
