Requirements

  • Associate's degree and 2 years of administrative experience OR High school diploma / GED and 4 years of administrative experience.

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years of experience supporting senior leadership in a corporate or biotech environment.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Proficiency in Concur, Workday, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Assistant Vice President, Patient Advocacy and Corporate Affairs.
  • Support U.S. and global advocacy and communications teams across Amgen's therapeutic areas.
  • Manage complex calendars and schedule meetings across global time zones.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, including expense reporting via Concur.
  • Prepare and proofread correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Support department operations such as onboarding/offboarding, technology set-up, and workspace coordination.
  • Partner with other administrative professionals and functional areas to ensure alignment and communication.
  • Collaborate on special projects and events as needed.
  • Assist with budget tracking and vendor coordination.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
