About The Position

The Holiday Inn Boston Cambridge Area is seeking a detail oriented Administrative Coordinator to support Human Resources, Accounting, and general administrative operations. This role is ideal for someone highly organized, peoplefocused, and comfortable working in a fastpaced hotel environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of administrative or hospitality experience required
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with PayCom or similar systems preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings/weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and move throughout the property as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred
  • TIPS Certification (within 60 days)
  • SERV Safe Certification preferred
  • Valid driver’s license preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support HR functions including onboarding, orientation, recruitment coordination, policy updates, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Prepare meeting materials, daily communications, and maintain personnel files
  • Assist with training coordination and compliance tracking
  • Perform general cashiering duties: collect deposits, prepare bank deposits, maintain house funds, audit safes, and manage petty cash
  • Support Accounts Payable: process invoices, maintain expense tracking, prepare vendor applications
  • Order office supplies and support administrative needs across departments
  • Participate in employee relations activities and leadership meetings
