About The Position

Join cloudIT as the Administrative Coordinator supporting our Product & Strategy Team and vCIOs — ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and foundational IT knowledge who wants to grow into a technical role. About the Role cloudIT is seeking a well-organized, detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator with a strong interest in technology and basic understanding of PC/server environments, licensing, and IT terminology . This role supports the Product & Strategy Team, vCIOs, and leadership with quoting, documentation, and daily operational tasks. You don’t need to be an engineer — but you do need to understand the basic fundamentals of technology and our service offerings for building quotes, reviewing licensing, researching products, or helping coordinate client solutions. This role is perfect for someone who wants to grow into Account Management, or a vCIO role over time.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong interest in technology and a willingness to learn quickly.
  • Proven self-started that knows how to leverage available resources to get the answers they need.
  • Familiarity with PC and server terminology (CPU, RAM, storage, operating systems).
  • Basic understanding of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and software licensing concepts .
  • Comfort identifying or learning about product SKUs, user licenses, hardware specs, and software versions.
  • Ability to understand the context of technical requests from vCIOs, engineers, or leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior MSP, IT services, help desk, or procurement experience is a strong plus .

Responsibilities

  • Support the Product & Strategy Department and vCIOs with administrative and technical coordination.
  • Assist in building quotes, proposals, and renewals — including reviewing hardware specs, licensing counts, and service details.
  • Help identify correct product SKUs, server licensing needs, PC/software versions, and equipment types during quoting.
  • Maintain documentation, spreadsheets, licensing data, and organized records for client solutions.
  • Coordinate with engineering and service teams to understand requests and follow through on tasks.
  • Support leadership with scheduling, prep work, meeting notes, and task tracking.
  • Assist with data entry, reporting, and updating internal systems.
  • Perform basic research on IT products (hardware, software, licensing) to support quoting and procurement.
  • Provide general administrative support including email management, file organization, and status follow-ups.
