Our work depends on an Administrative Coordinator joining our team to support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services onsite in Windsor Mill, Maryland. Work visa sponsorship will not be provided for this role. At GDIT, we put our people first. As an Administrative Coordinator supporting CMS and GDIT’s Windsor Mill, Maryland office, you will be trusted to provide a variety of administrative, operations, coordination, and task-oriented support. In this role, a typical day will include: Completing manual ID proofing in support for Independent Dispute Resolution processes, ensuring complete and accurate form completion and notarization, system registration, and document retention in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in compliance with privacy and security standards. Organize, version, and archive documents in accordance with records management standards Entering pertinent information into a variety of automated tracking systems and maintains program-specific data to track items such as project milestones, progress reports, funding and expenditure data, etc. Supporting executive management with a variety of administrative tasks, such as coordination with onsite seating and events, travel, calendars and other important scheduling needs, anticipating conflicts and identifying early resolution of an operational or technical nature Providing project coordination support to executive and senior leadership to ensure that projects are well organized and running smoothly, including coordinating information and deadlines across projects, managing document repositories, and developing project artifacts such as reports and presentations. Developing and maintaining SharePoint, Teams, Confluence, and/or similar platforms. Monitoring multiple shared Outlook mailboxes and calendars, ensuring appropriate timely responses. Serving as back-up facilities contact for building facilities officials, including: conference room setup and breakdown, client and visitor greeting and direction, and coordination with onsite IT support. Support working groups and meetings, including documentation and distribution of meeting minutes and action items, and provide ad-hoc programmatic support to the division’s staff as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years’ of relevant experience, preferably in legal studies, paralegal studies, or business administration.
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative, legal administrative, paralegal, or compliance-support role.
  • Experience handling confidential and/or sensitive information.
  • Technical competency with collaborative tools including Microsoft SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps and Confluence.
  • Proficient in other Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Proficient using MS tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work full-time onsite in GDIT’s Windsor Mill, MD facility
  • Consistent quality performance rated valued or higher
  • Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance
  • Candidate must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years

Responsibilities
