About The Position

Position will support patient admission to day surgery department as well as clerical duties in supporting the pre procedure assessment center, contacting patients, making appointments, and gathering information from Epic.

Requirements

• High School Diploma- or equivalent
• Knowledge of medical terminology, patient care quality standards, health insurance verification, regulatory compliance standards, and Electronic health records (EHR) software.
• Knowledge of medical reimbursement helpful.
• Work performed requires Excel, Outlook, other Microsoft Office Suite applications, Epic, Kronos, and SharePoint skills.
