Caterpillar’s North Little Rock (NLR) facility is seeking a professional, welcoming, and customer service oriented Administrative Coordinator to provide administrative support for facility and department heads. This role is essential in creating a positive leader and guest experience, often coordinating events and acting as the first face to the NLR facility for senior leaders and high value visitors.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with event and large-scale meeting planning, including acting as the face for the event or professional point of contact
  • Experience supporting or interfacing regularly with senior leadership
  • Experience managing purchases, managing a budget and filing expense reports
  • Experience supporting and communicating with managers across multiple departments
  • Demonstrated ability to develop professional written communications such as memo’s, announcements and general billboard communications
  • Manufacturing industry experience

Responsibilities

  • Help plan and organize events and support visitors. This includes planning and ordering catering, reserving spaces for events and covering expenses, including filing expense reports
  • Act as the first face for visitors and senior leaders to NLR facility, providing professional and accommodating service
  • Manage calendar for the Site Director and their direct reports as well as overall facility calendar
  • Manage office functions such as supply purchases, placing work orders for cleaning and repairs and helping managers with office equipment needs
  • Assist with distribution of facility communications
  • Assist with facility recruiting events
  • Facilitate domestic and international travel arrangements; assisting in payments, expense processing, and charge card reconciliation
