About The Position

The University of Southern Maine’s Adult Student Success Center is seeking a Part-time Administrative Coordinator. The part time-time Administrative Coordinator will serve as the primary administrative support for the Adult Student Success Program and Center, which assists adult undergraduate students, (age 24 and older) in completing their first bachelor’s degree. The Administrative Coordinator will work closely with the program’s Director, as well as student workers. This position will provide these essential support functions for the Adult Student Success Center: General administrative support, Support for student workers, Center operations, Student support, Marketing and Communications, Program Support, Fiscal Management. The Adult Student Success Center at the University of Southern Maine (USM) is dedicated to supporting adult learners. The center offers personalized coaching, assistance with navigating university systems, and access to resources like scholarships and credit for prior learning. The center plays a crucial role in fostering a supportive environment that empowers adult students to achieve their educational goals.
