About The Position

The Administrative Coordinator - Outpatient at Glen Oaks Hospital is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Outpatient Therapy team, Outpatient Manager, and Director of Clinical Services. This role involves client enrollment, utilization review, report compilation, and general office support, ensuring meticulous attention to detail in managing patient records and scheduling needs.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent of two years experience in business administration, finance, organizational development, medical assisting, accounting or related field.
  • Minimum one year experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a healthcare environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience supporting multiple functions in an administrative capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for the Outpatient Therapy team and management.
  • Assist with client enrollment and pre-authorization processes with insurance companies.
  • Compile and create regular reports for Outpatient client tracking.
  • Manage confidential patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Coordinate scheduling and attend to client needs and insurance requirements.
