About The Position

The Administrative Coordinator provides administrative and functional support to the Human Resources Team and is responsible for the efficient and effective flow of business operations for a busy department. This position will handle administrative and reception duties for the Human Resources department; including triaging employee questions/issues, responding to the group HR Email Inbox, scanning files to electronic records, coordinating and scheduling meetings, preparing presentation materials, processing department purchase orders, filing, and keeping project work on task and on time. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and capable of handling multiple priorities in a deadline driven, fast-paced confidential environment.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree
  • 1-3 years

Responsibilities

  • Completes complex administrative tasks for a PNWU department or program. This may include proofreading and editing, coordinating scheduling for meetings and events, arranging travel, managing events and projects, and overseeing workflow.
  • Manages communications via mail, email, and phone.
  • Supports committees with scheduling, set up, and recording minutes, and transcribing.
  • Monitors office supply inventory and order supplies as necessary.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned and based on departmental need.
