About The Position

The Administrative Coordinator 1/2/3 position within the Child Support Enforcement office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is responsible for performing a variety of clerical duties to support the operations of the department. This role is designed for entry-level candidates and offers opportunities for career progression within the state civil service system. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Answer multi-line telephone or switchboards, providing routine information and screening calls.
  • Greet visitors and assist them as needed.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail.
  • Collect and prepare time and attendance sheets for processing.
  • Perform routine filing of documents and maintain filing systems.
  • Copy and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents.
  • Receive payments in various forms from customers and employees.
  • Operate office equipment such as copy machines and calculators as needed.
  • Deliver and pick up materials as required.
