Responsibilities

  • Assists in the administration of department programs and projects.

  • Answers questions and resolves administrative and budgetary problems.
  • Serves as liaison and acts on behalf of administrator in dealings with faculty and external contacts.
  • Represents administrator at meetings and conferences, and may make presentations.
  • Compiles information for reports disseminated within and outside the University.
  • Composes correspondence to students and others regarding requests for information.
  • Provides clerical support for programs and projects, including preparing and processing forms.
  • Maintains files and may train and direct student or temporary employees.
