About The Position
Sentara Martha Jefferson is hiring an Administrative Associate for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This is a full-time day shift position in Charlottesville, VA. The Administrative Associate provides administrative support to the unit or department assigned. Serves as the first point of contact for patients, family members and visitors on unit assigned requiring the application of excellent customer service skills. Will also assist with the provision of a safe hospital environment conducive to individualized patient care for patients at risk of falls, wandering, agitation, impulsiveness, self-harm or other risk behaviors enabling patients to maintain or enhance function during the hospital stay. Will assist with answering call bells, confirming entries into the secure unit, stocking of supplies, and assisting the nursing staff with obtaining patient medical devices and supplies.
