About the position

The Administrative Assistant provides exceptional customer service to AXIS Clinicals’ staff, guests, and callers. They will typically be the first person to greet guests when they arrive and will provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests and callers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean reception area and request supplies as needed.
  • Receive volunteer participants for screening and direct them to appropriate location and provide them with initial screening paperwork.
  • Maintain visitor log, issue visitor badges, and direct guests to assigned conference room or service area(s).
  • Distribute checks to participants and call for check pickup reminders.
  • Receive and distribute mail and packages and keep a log of outgoing mail.
  • Track general supply inventories and request as needed.
  • Work with vendors on pickup and delivery (e.g., breakroom is stocked, recycling is collected regularly, etc.)
  • Other Administrative Duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates good customer service and phone/e-mail skills.
  • Exhibits good computer skills and able to learn new technology, as needed.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret the English language.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous customer service or Administrative Assistant experience preferred.
