About The Position

As an Administrative Assistant at DaVita, you will be part of a team that values work-life balance and prioritizes personal and professional growth. This position is available in hospital and outpatient settings, where you will provide administrative support to a team and make a difference in the lives of patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. The role involves ensuring the timely and accurate completion of various documents and assisting patients with arrangements. You can expect to build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting.

Requirements

  • Personable individual with excellent computer and clerical skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Type 60 WPM
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Obtained their CMS- approved Patient Care Technician (PCT) certification

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of change requisitions, treatment logs, patient charts, invoices and purchase orders
  • Assist patients with transportation arrangements and physician appointments
  • At times operate as a PCT
