The Administrative Assistant is responsible for daily reception-related duties, but with a heavy emphasis on office management, vendor management, and event planning/execution. This role will also assist the Executive Assistant in supporting the executive team with various tasks. This position reports to the Administrative Manager & Executive Assistant and is part of the Administrative Team located onsite in our Torrance, CA office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Support the executive team by managing administrative needs, including expense reports, team requests, and planning and executing onsite and offsite events, including philanthropy initiatives. Co-manage administrative form requests, food and event services, office supplies, and small office-related projects. Manage front desk reception by greeting customers, vendors, and associates, handling call transfers, and reviewing, organizing, scanning, and distributing mail and faxes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' work experience in administrative support
  • 2+ years' experience using Microsoft 365 (Word, Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • 2+ years working in corporate culture
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25 pounds
